Sisal
Suggestions for care:
- regular (daily) cleaning with a powerful vacuum cleaner (with or without brush attachment)
Stain removal:
- the fresher the stain, the easier it is to remove
- soak up the worst of the dirt with an absorbent white or undyed cloth
- remove solid particles using the back edge of a knife or a spoon
- spray special carpet shampoo e.g. Tapigold onto the bristles of a natural fibre brush or cloth, carefully remove the stain from the carpet by rubbing gently
- important: do not moisten the stain, as sisal tends to shrink when wet and water stains could result
Thorough cleaning:
- thorough cleaning to remove greasy or oily residue is necessary from time to time
